Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Geuno Ltd, trading as Millineer ("we", "us", "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on millineer.com ("the Website").
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the website remember your actions and preferences, and help businesses measure how well their adverts work.
Cookies we use
1. Strictly necessary
These keep the Website working, for example remembering your cookie choice (stored in your browser as mlnr_consent) and remembering which advert brought you here so your enquiry reaches us with the right details. They do not need your consent.
2. Marketing / advertising (only with your consent)
These are set by the Meta Pixel, which we load only after you click "Accept all". We use them to measure how our Facebook and Instagram adverts perform, to show our adverts to people who have visited the Website, and to find people similar to our patients.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd | Identifies browsers for advertising and measurement | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd | Records that you arrived from a Meta advert | 90 days |
| fr | Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd | Delivers, measures and improves relevance of adverts | 90 days |
Meta acts as a joint controller for personal data collected via the Pixel. See Meta's Privacy Policy.
3. Analytics
We do not currently use third-party analytics cookies. If we add any, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
How to control cookies
When you first visit, a banner lets you choose Accept all or Reject non-essential. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have rights including access, correction and deletion of your personal data, and the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
